An afternoon of ordinary madness rocked the quiet town of Atripalda, in the province of Avellino. A 30-year-old man, already known to law enforcement, sowed panic among motorists and passengers, violently attacking them and damaging their vehicles. The incident occurred yesterday afternoon, when the young man, riding a scooter, began crashing into several vehicles.
Not content with the chaos created, the man got out of the vehicle and began kicking and punching the drivers and passengers of the cars involved.

During the search, the man was found in possession of a switchblade. The 30-year-old was reported at large to the Avellino Prosecutor's Office for illegal possession of a knife, assault, and damage to property. The knife was immediately seized by the police.
