A tragedy shook the community of Quadrelle yesterday evening, shortly after 21:00 PM, when a 35-year-old Brazilian woman died after falling from a seven-meter high wall in Fusaro. A passerby found the woman unconscious and immediately alerted the emergency services.
The 118 staff intervened promptly and transported the victim to the hospital Nola, in the province of Naples. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of the doctors, the woman never regained consciousness and was declared dead shortly after her arrival at the hospital. Investigations are currently underway to reconstruct exactly what happened.
The Carabinieri of the Baiano Company, together with the military of the Investigative Unit of the Provincial Command of Avellino, are working to shed light on the details of the incident. An initial examination by the coroner has ruled out the presence of signs of violence on the victim's body, indicating instead traumatic injuries compatible with an accidental fall.
