Aversa. Violence and threats inside the Carabinieri barracks in Aversa, where a 36-year-old woman had gone to report yet another episode of aggression suffered by her ex-boyfriend.
The man, a 37-year-old local, did not hesitate to follow her into the military station, cursing her in an attempt to make her desist from filing a complaint.
The victim, who had been the victim of stalking and mistreatment by the man for some time, told the Carabinieri that she had met him about 15 years ago and that she had started a relationship with him in April of this year.
From the very beginning, the relationship had been characterized by morbid and obsessive attitudes on the part of the man, which later resulted in physical aggression that the woman, out of fear, had never reported.
The most recent episode occurred yesterday, June 18, when the woman met her ex-boyfriend to return his cell phone. The man forced his way into her car and attacked her with bites and slaps. After freeing herself, the woman immediately went to the Carabinieri to file a complaint.
When he learned of the facts, the man rushed to barracks, where he railed against his ex with the intent of intimidating her. Promptly stopped by the Carabinieri, the 37-year-old was arrested and taken to the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
