A 27-year-old man from Benevento was removed from his home and subjected to an electronic bracelet check and a ban on approaching his wife, following accusations of mistreatment and personal injury.
The measure, issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Benevento at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office, was adopted at the end of the investigations conducted by the Carabinieri. The complaint had been filed by the woman after yet another argument, during which she had been beaten with slaps and punches, reporting injuries deemed curable in fifteen days.
The removal from the family home and the electronic bracelet represent precautionary measures aimed at protecting women and preventing further episodes of violence. This is an important sign of the authorities' commitment to combating the phenomenon of domestic violence and protecting victims.
