There is concern for an eighteen-month-old boy from Grottaminarda, in the province of Avellino, who swallowed staples from a stapler inside his home.
He was rushed to the emergency room of Ariano Irpino hospital, and after a series of diagnostic tests, he was transferred by air ambulance to Santobono hospital in Naples.
A precautionary decision in anticipation of any surgery that may become necessary.

The eighteen-month-old boy, while inside his home in Grottaminarda, managed to access a stapler and, during a moment of inattention from his mother, swallowed some of the staples inside.
Given the delicate nature of the situation and the risk of complications that could require surgery, it was decided to transfer the bimbo at the "Santobono" pediatric hospital in Naples.
The transfer took place by air ambulance, accompanied by the child's mother and a specialized medical team, ready to intervene in case of emergency during the flight.
