Pozzuoli. According to the weekly monitoring bulletin for the Phlegraean Fields dated June 11, 2024 (covering the week of June 3–9, 2024), published by the Vesuvius Observatory, "there are no indications suggesting significant short-term developments."
In light of the monitoring data, it is highlighted:
EXPECTED SCENARIOS: Based on the current picture of volcanic activity, there are no elements that suggest significant short-term developments.
Current situation at Campi Flegrei (June 13, 2024)
Seismic activity:
During the week of June 3-9, 2024, 143 earthquakes were recorded, with a magnitude 3.7 event on June 8.
From June 8th to 01:48 UTC a seismic swarm of 56 events was recorded in the Solfatara-Pisciarelli area.

Bradyseism:
The uplift rate in the area of maximum deformation returned to approximately 2 cm per month.
Il lift total recorded in Rione Terra (RITE) is about 123 cm since January 2011, of which 27 cm since January 2023 and 9 cm since January 2024.
This uplift exceeds by about 35 cm the maximum peak reached during the previous bradyseismic crisis of the 80s.
Geochemical activity:
Soil CO2 fluxes have not shown significant changes over the past week.
The temperature of a fumarolic emission in the Pisciarelli area is stable at around 95°C.
The CO2 flow measured monthly in the Solfatara confirms an increasing trend, with high values of around 5000 t/d.
