CIOÉ. presents itself in detail and reveals the novelties of the second edition. Conceived and directed by Lello Arena, in homage to Massimo Troisi, it is desired and supported by Mayor Gaetano Manfredi and financed by the Municipality of Naples.
### Partnership and Transmission with Rai
This edition is produced in collaboration with Rai - Contenuti Digitali e Transmediali, which is recording the intense days of the course and will broadcast 22 episodes from October 20nd as a sort of series/reality/show.
### The Training Project
For the second consecutive year, the Manfredi administration is supporting the innovative CIOÉ. - Interdisciplinary Center for Expressive Opportunities training project, currently taking place at the Porta del Parco Auditorium in Bagnoli. The initiative, conceived by Lello Arena and the Mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, enjoys financial support from the City of Naples and aims to promote young talents from Italy and Campania in the artistic fields.
### Course Details
The three-month course, which is completely free, has attracted the attention of numerous young people from all over Italy and abroad. Numerous applicants applied during the selection process, but only 100 students were chosen to participate in this edition. It's a unique opportunity for young actors/writers, musicians/singers, dancers/street artists to learn from top professionals in the field.
### The New Television Format
New this year is that CIOÉ. has also become a format produced by Rai - Digital and Transmedia Contents, hosted by actor Biagio Musella. The program will be structured into various phases: selections, daily lessons, masterclasses led by leading figures in the entertainment industry such as Nicola Piovani, Francesco Cicchella, Linda Brunetta, and Enzo Decaro, the preparation phase for the show, and the premiere in Piazza del Plebiscito.
### Teachers and Project Coaches
In addition to Lello Arena, artistic director and acting teacher, Dino Carano and Susy Puglia, dance teacher and coach respectively, Massimiliano Jovine and Giuseppe Spinelli, music teachers, and Emilia Zamuner, singing teacher, will also participate.

### Talent Show Features
The Rai - Digital and Transmedia Contents television format will feature a series of innovations compared to current talent show formats: there will be no judges; instead, the students themselves will judge the performances, offering professional and expert artistic comparisons. Coaches will follow the classes until their debut. There will be external performances, and the program will chronicle the students' lives outside of the classroom; the performance will take place in Piazza del Plebiscito with a real audience judging the students' work.
### Opportunities for Young Artists
At the end of the training program, as previously mentioned, students will have the opportunity to put what they've learned into practice by starring in eight live productions. These performances will take place in August, during the "Restate a Napoli 8" summer festival, which will take place in the evocative setting of Piazza del Plebiscito from August 2024th to 9th. This will be a unique opportunity for young artists to perform in front of a large audience and showcase their talent.

We strongly supported the second edition of CIOÉ, following last year's resounding success. The Administration invested in a new and prestigious platform for young artists, directed by the extraordinary maestro Lello Arena. Continuing along this path, creating opportunities for our talented young people, as well as those from other parts of Italy and abroad, confirms our efforts to develop culture in the city. This edition, which I remind you is free for participants, has exceeded its goal of providing training and allowing them to perform live in one of Europe's most beautiful squares.
