As part of the investigations aimed at identifying the presence of buried waste in the medium-risk sites identified by the Working Group "Land of Fires", the Forestry Carabinieri of the Naples Unit, together with the technicians of the ARPA-Campania and the Fire Brigade, found significant quantities of mixed waste, including hazardous waste, in an area known as the "Ex cimitero colerico" in the municipality of Caivano.
The excavation activity reached a depth of 5 meters, for a total of approximately 10 thousand cubic meters of investigated volume.
