The City of Caivano is celebrating theater and young talent with Caivano stArt - Talent Scout, a unique initiative under the artistic direction of Lello Arena.
This summer festival, dedicated to discovering and promoting local artistic talent, represents a concrete response to the many challenges the community faces daily. The program is part of "La Primavera di Caivano," a series of initiatives promoted by the Campania Region - Department of Youth Policies, in collaboration with the Municipality of Caivano, and implemented by Scabec - Società Campana Beni Culturali. The program aims to engage local youth and families in a series of inclusion activities and the promotion of collective well-being through a program of free artistic events.
Artistic Direction by Lello Arena
The artistic director, in agreement with the regional institutions, has outlined a path of collective growth to promote social relaunch through the powerful language of entertainment culture.
Caivano stArt: Growth Opportunities
Caivano stArt is a project designed to offer growth and development opportunities to young people in the area, highlighting the human and cultural capital of Caivano and neighboring municipalities. With the support of the resources of DGR n. 502 of 10.11.2021 and the National Youth Policy Fund, promoted by the Campania Region - Youth Policy Department, and implemented by Scabec Spa, the program focuses on theater, dance, music and street art.
Training Course and Evenings of Entertainment
Until the end of June, the young talents will be involved in a four-week training program. During this period, they will have the opportunity to participate in intensive workshops in theater, dance, music, and street art. The program will culminate in two evenings of performances at the Caivano Market Area:
- Friday 19 July: Show of emerging artists, accompanied by Lello Arena and Paolo Caiazzo.
- Saturday, July 20: Nino Frassica & Los Plaggers Band Show - 2000/3000.
How to participate
The project's primary goal is to revitalize live performance by offering young local talent the opportunity to share the stage with renowned artists, thus enriching their educational background and artistic career. This initiative aims to foster a cultural and musical dialogue, especially involving young people, by promoting events in schools and the community.
To participate, simply send your application by email by June 30th to caivanostart2024@lelloarena.com with a short CV, a full-length photo, a close-up photo and a video of a maximum duration of one minute in which they show their talent and skills. After the selection, the chosen ones will be admitted to a month of art meetings and workshops with the artistic director Lello Arena and with professionals from the various categories. All activities will be completely free. There are no age limits to participate in the events and the project, but you must be of legal age.
