In the frenetic summer of the transfer market, it's always the coaches who monopolize the attention. Fiorentina has officially announced Raffaele Palladino as their new manager, while Antonio Conte's announcement at Napoli seems imminent, with the signing expected at Filmauro's offices in Rome.

Monza seems to have focused on Marco Baroni, while Igor Tudor's situation at Lazio is still uncertain. Despite the denials, the divorce between the Croatian coach and the Biancoceleste club seems likely. In Formello they are thinking about Sérgio Conceição, who has just left Porto, but he will have to deal with competition from Marseille. In the meantime, some are dreaming Massimiliano Allegri on the Lazio bench.

Meanwhile, talks between Vincenzo Italiano and Bologna are progressing quickly. In Venice, president Duncan Niederauer dreams of Maurizio Sarri, but the Tuscan coach's financial demands are a stumbling block. Eusebio Di Francesco, on his way from Frosinone, could therefore arrive in Venice, where Roberto D'Aversa could also land.

Transfer Market: Milan Evaluates Gimenez, Juve Pushes for Calafiori

Thiago Motta is on standby at Juventus, but the Bianconeri's insistence on Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna suggests an agreement with the Italian-Brazilian coach is close. At AC Milan, Paulo Fonseca's arrival now seems certain, given the Rossoneri's interest in Jonathan David and Brendan Brassier, two Ligue 1 players Fonseca knows well. Abdoulaye Diakité, pursued by Roma, is also on AC Milan's radar.

On the player front, AC Milan is considering Feyenoord's Santiago Giménez as an alternative attacking option, having already initiated contact with the Mexican's agents. Antonio Conte, close to joining Napoli, has reportedly already contacted Romelu Lukaku, inviting him to join the Neapolitan team with a joke about the need to lose weight. Napoli is also considering Alavés' Teteh Omorodion and Giuliano Simeone, also of Alavés and called up by Argentina's Olimpica to play in Paris.

As for Roma, fans are dreaming of Davide Frattesi, even though Inter seem unwilling to sell him. Federico Chiesa could be a more realistic option. Other names in the Giallorossi's orbit include Mats Hummels, on his way out of Borussia Dortmund, and Nicolás Tagliafico of Lyon, although the latter still has a year left on his contract.

Juventus also closes deal for Douglas Luiz, there's a swap deal

Juventus are all but done with Aston Villa's Douglas Luiz, with Weston McKennie potentially moving the other way. The Bianconeri are also targeting Michele Di Gregorio, given rumors of Wojciech Szczesny's possible move to Saudi Arabia, where Liverpool's Alisson Becker could also end up. Juve are pushing for Teun Koopmeiners, with Dean Huijsen potentially included in the deal with Atalanta.

News from Uruguay has arrived that Como is close to signing Jeremia Recoba, a talented player from Nacional Montevideo and the son of Alvaro Recoba. Interestingly, the young Recoba was born in Como, where his father lived during his career at Moratti's Inter Milan.
