In Campania, 158 mayors were elected in the first round, while nine municipalities will have to face a runoff.
These are the final results of the local elections held at the same time as the European elections.
Specifically, the municipalities of Nocera Superiore (province of Salerno), Aversa, Casal di Principe, and Castel Volturno (all in the province of Caserta), Torre Annunziata, San Giuseppe Vesuviano, Grumo Nevano, and Sant'Antimo (all in the province of Naples), Avellino, and Montoro will return to the polls.

As for the municipalities that celebrate the new mayor, in the province of Naples there are 19 municipalities that elected their mayor in the first round, including Castellammare di Stabia and Bacoli.
In the province of Avellino, 40 mayors were elected in the first round. In the province of Caserta, 28 mayors were elected in the first round, in the province of Benevento 25 and in the province of Salerno 46.
