A Capaccio Paestum, the Carabinieri of the local station, in collaboration with the operational and radiomobile unit of the Agropoli company, arrested a man for illegal possession of weapons and ammunition, receiving stolen goods and mistreatment in the family.
According to the prosecution, the man first physically assaulted his mother and brother. Later, during a search, he was found in possession of a semi-automatic rifle and related ammunition, both of which were found to be stolen property.
The mother and brother of the arrested man said that the man was not new to episodes of violence towards them.

The rifle has been sent to the forensic section which will have to establish whether it was used in recent bloody incidents.
