Naples. The Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, announced that a new lease agreement was signed yesterday at the Prefecture for the headquarters of the Carabinieri Station in Naples' Spanish Quarters, located in a building owned by the Fondazione Mondragone Educational Institute, an entity supervised by the Campania Region.
This Institute, recognized since 2004 as an Institution of Higher Education, has hosted the Carabinieri for years in the XNUMXth-century Compendium of the Spanish Quarters.
The new contract not only formalizes the lease with the owner, but also provides for the improvement and adaptation of the structure to current regulations for institutional buildings.
The signing of the agreement is the result of intense collaborative work between the offices of the Prefecture of Naples, the Carabinieri, the State Property Agency and the owner Foundation.
