Casoria. Carabinieri from the Casoria Company's Operational Section arrested Sabato Felli this morning at dawn, a 39-year-old wanted since last April on a warrant issued by the Naples Court of Appeal.
Felli, sentenced to eight years in prison for mafia association in Afragola, had been untraceable for several months.
The Carabinieri, after an intense investigative effort, located him in an apartment on Via Torquato Tasso, where he was hiding with two acquaintances and his faithful four-legged friend, a Mexican Chihuahua.
The arrest and the reports
Felli did not resist the Carabinieri raid. The couple who were hosting him were instead charged with aiding and abetting. The man was then transferred to Secondigliano prison, while his chihuahua he was entrusted to the care of trusted people.
