A 38-year-old man was arrested yesterday by police in Castellammare di Stabia on charges of aggravated theft and receiving stolen motor vehicles.
The officers of the Castellammare Police Station executed a precautionary custody order under house arrest, issued by the investigating judge of the Torre Annunziata Court at the request of the Oplontina Prosecutor's Office.
The investigation, initiated following the discovery of several stolen vehicles, led to a check on the 38-year-old, during which burglary tools were found in his possession.
The man was tracked down at his home and placed under house arrest.
