The Carabinieri of Castellammare di Stabia continue their drug raids, combating drug trafficking both in the Lattari Mountains and in the city's residential areas. During one of these raids, 31-year-old Antonio Iacone, already known to law enforcement, was arrested.
The operation, conducted by the operational section of the Carabinieri with the support of the canine units of Sarno and the Campania Regiment, led to numerous searches. At Iacone's home, officers found and seized 145 grams of hashish, over half a kilo of marijuana, and several doses of crack. Additionally, €1.665 in cash was found, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.
The 31-year-old was arrested and transferred to prison, where he awaits trial. He will face charges of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking. This operation underscores the commitment of law enforcement to combat drug trafficking and ensure local security.
