Castellammare. "I won't be everyone's mayor; for example, I won't be the mayor of the Camorra and profiteers. From day one, we'll focus on day-to-day life."
These are the words of Luigi Vicinanza, the newly elected center-left mayor, who from the very beginning of the vote showed a landslide lead over his center-right opponent, Mario d'Apuzzo.
In every constituency in Castellammare di Stabia, the list representatives reported their position of absolute dominance, with double the votes obtained by the lawyer D'Apuzzo.
"The stabiesi - comments from the defeated center-right candidate, D'Apuzzo They have decided, and I hope the new mayor governs our city well and for a long time. The divide is clear, and the evidence is unmistakable. We will be on the Council to represent the citizens who have chosen our electoral proposal, and we will be an opposition that is always and solely concerned with the interests of the people of Castellammare di Stabia.
The high percentage of citizens who turned out to vote is a testament to the intense attention we managed to generate with a lively debate throughout the election campaign. I thank the candidates on my lists and everyone who supported me in recent weeks.
