An area divided by a strip of concrete, via Nino Taranto, which hosts public housing and an illuminated altar to the Madonna, yesterday saw the arrest of two drug dealers in the space of a few hours. The police, always present to ensure security, seized over one hundred doses of narcotics.
In the area of the “219” buildings, built in the 80s for post-earthquake reconstruction, the Carabinieri of the local company know every corner. It is here that Andrea Casalino, 28 years old from Carbonara di Nola, was arrested. Found in possession of 60 doses of crack and cocaine, for a total of 21 grams, packaged with colored tissue paper, he also had 685 euros, proceeds of drug dealing. Casalino is now in prison, awaiting trial, accused of possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.
A short distance away, in via Leopardi, the Carabinieri arrested Carmine Ischero, a 34-year-old local already known to the police. Found in possession of 40 doses of crack and 160 euros in cash, Ischero was placed under house arrest, awaiting trial. The control operations by the Carabinieri of the Castello di Cisterna continue.
