Cervinara worker dies while picking cherries, investigation underway

Cervinara - A tragic accident occurred this morning in the fields of Cervinara, in the province of Avellino, where a 63-year-old worker was found dead. The man, apparently busy picking cherries, was found unconscious by some colleagues.

Officers from the Cervinara police station and 118 emergency personnel responded to the scene. The prosecutor from the Avellino Public Prosecutor's Office ordered the seizure of the body, which was transferred to the hospital in the capital for forensic examinations.
