Naples. Yesterday evening, at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium in Naples, the second of three Geolier concerts took place, which were a great success with the public.
However, the concert was also the occasion for a massive deployment of forces by the local police, committed to ensuring safety and legality in the surrounding area.
Widespread checks against illegal activities and violations
During the checks, local police officers fined and removed five parking attendants who were operating illegally in the areas surrounding the stadium.
Towed 47 vehicles and 20 motorcycles that had been parked in prohibited areas, creating traffic obstructions and compromising public safety.
Issued 103 fines for violations of the Highway Code, including lack of insurance coverage, failure to display driving and circulation documents, failure to undergo MOT testing and illegal parking.
Various types of drinks that were being sold illegally near the stadium without the necessary authorizations were seized.
A man who was selling concert tickets near the B curve without any authorization was reported. The tickets were confiscated.
A man who was a ticket scalper was also reported
The massive control operation carried out by the local police aimed to ensure the smooth running of the concert and the safety of all participants.
The action of the police forces was also aimed at combating illegal activities and violations of the rules that, unfortunately, often occur during large events.
