The Carabinieri of the Sant'Antimo branch, in collaboration with the Naples labor inspectorate, have reported a 53-year-old textile entrepreneur, originally from Bangladesh, following workplace safety inspections. The inspection took place at a textile factory located on Via Grazia Deledda, where numerous irregularities were found.
The work environments did not meet the requirements set by the legislation, the tools were not adequately maintained and the employees had not received the necessary training. Of the eight workers present in total, only 3 were regularly employed with a contract.
Following these violations, the activity was immediately suspended and fines totalling over 50 thousand euros were applied. This operation in Sant'Antimo underlines the importance of continuous checks to ensure safety in the workplace and compliance with current laws.
