Local police have intensified checks in the Caramanico Market area to combat illegal activity and ensure public safety. During the operation, three illegal parking attendants were fined and referred to the judicial authorities. A street vendor selling fruit and vegetables was fined for lack of administrative and health authorization and for illegally occupying public land.
The merchandise was seized and destroyed. Within the market, several vendors were fined for excessive use of public land. Two street vendors selling illegal clothing were fined for lack of administrative authorization and illegal use of public land. In this case, too, the merchandise was seized, with total fines of €29 imposed.
Overall, 25 fines were issued for various traffic violations, with four vehicles being seized by crane. These checks are part of a larger operation by local police of Naples to improve legality and safety in market areas.
