Yesterday, as part of the security operations implemented by the Naples Police Headquarters to ensure safety in nightlife areas, officers from the Vomero and Arenella police stations, in collaboration with the Local Police, conducted a series of checks in the Vomero neighborhood. The operation focused specifically on the areas of San Martino, Piazza Vanvitelli, Piazza Medaglie D'Oro, and Via Giordano, Via Scarlatti, and Via Falcone.
During the service, 77 people were identified, 11 of whom had a police record and 3 were subjected to restrictive measures such as house arrest or house arrest. 8 commercial establishments were checked, with one of them administratively sanctioned for illegal occupation of public land. In addition, 23 vehicles were checked, 4 of which were subjected to administrative seizure.
The operations also led to the notification of 17 violations of the Highway Code, mainly for lack of insurance coverage, driving without a protective helmet and no parking. These checks demonstrate the ongoing commitment of the police to ensuring safety and compliance with the rules in the lively area of Vomero, particularly crowded on nightlife evenings.
