Naples. Yesterday, a massive deployment of law enforcement forces carried out an extraordinary territorial control service in Piazza Garibaldi and Porta Nolana, with the aim of guaranteeing safety and legality in the area.

The operation, jointly carried out by the Vicaria-Mercato Police Stations, the Carabinieri, the Guardia di Finanza, ASL Napoli 1 Centro, the Railway Police and the Metropolitan Police, involved the use of numerous officers and the collaboration of various institutions.

148 people were identified: among them, 7 were administratively sanctioned for possession of drugs for personal use.
30 vehicles checked: 6 violations of the Highway Code contested.
9 commercial establishments checked: 39 prescriptions and 6 administrative sanctions issued for a total of approximately 10.500 euros.
Seizures: 3,6 kg of foreign manufactured tobacco and 117 kg of untraceable foodstuffs.
