"It is with great regret that I denounce the transformation of the internal courtyards of Palazzo San Giacomo into parking lots for cars and scooters ," said City Councilor Massimo Cilenti, raising an issue that touches the heart of the city's cultural heritage. Cilenti emphasized that this situation not only defaces the decorum and historic character of the building, but also creates serious safety concerns for residents and visitors.

"These historic spaces, an integral part of our cultural heritage, cannot be sacrificed for logistical convenience ," he stated firmly. "The courtyards are not designed to support traffic and vehicle parking ," the councilor continued, "and this can cause structural damage and accidents, putting people's safety at risk."

Cilenti highlighted the concrete danger these actions pose, both to the integrity of the building and to the safety of those who frequent it. The city councilor made a heartfelt appeal to the competent authorities to intervene immediately. "I ask the authorities to restore order and dignity to Palazzo San Giacomo , thus protecting both our historical heritage and safety ," Cilenti concluded, urging swift action to resolve this critical issue.
