The Attorney General's Office of the Court of Auditors and the Guardia di Finanza of Naples have discovered a round of undue disbursements of public funds in the Campania Region, which has caused a financial loss of over 3,6 million euros.

17 managers and former managers have been accused of conduct characterized by “gross negligence”. The charges concern two periods:
May 2019, 30 – April 2021, 1.485.150: During this period, secretarial managers would have received €489.129 and administrative coordinators €1.974.279, for a total of €XNUMX.
May 2021, 31 – December 2022, 1.267.882: During this period, 446.016,41 euros were paid to secretarial managers and 1.713.898,41 euros to administrative coordinators, for a total of XNUMX euros.
Among the accused are the current president of the Campania Regional Council, Gennaro Oliviero, and the former president Rosa D'Amelio.

Gennaro Oliviero: 45% of the total amount, for 771.254,28 euros
Loredana Raia: 5% of the ascertained damage, for 85.694,92 euros
Valeria Ciarambino: 5% of the ascertained damage, for 85.694,92 euros

Those responsible will have to answer for serious conduct that caused significant damage to the public coffers.
