Dario Sansone, Livio Cori, Don Ciccio, Mama Marjas and Vesuviano in Pagani for a summer of music at Cinquanta – Spirito Italiano.
The month of June brings a lot of quality music to Cinquanta – Spirito Italiano in Pagani, in the province of Salerno. National artists for the Cinquanta Music Fest and plenty of space for new musical proposals with the Cinquanta Music Contest.
Throughout the summer, the leitmotif “Let yourself go” will be in time with music thanks also to the support of Fontanella Distribuzione, Birra Ceres, Nordés Gin and the media partnership with Radio Base.
It starts on Thursday 13 June with the live performance of Dario Sansone, historic frontman of the Neapolitan folk rock band I Foja, with whom he has released 2006 albums since 6, and author of the animated films “L'Arte della Felicità” by Alessandro Rak, produced by MAD Entertainment and winner of the European Film Awards 2014 as Best European Animated Film, and of “Gatta Cenerentola” in 2017 together with Alessandro Rak, Ivan Cappiello and Marino Guarnieri.
The Cinquanta Music Fest will continue on July 4th with Livio Cori, an expression of the new Neapolitan musical world with various participations also in “Gomorra – La serie”, on August 1st Don Ciccio and Mama Marjas, historical faces of Italian reggae, while the last live will be on September 19th with Vesuviano Full Band, with its sounds between popular music and r'n'b.
“We have been seriously investing in live music for 3 years now, both in winter and summer. From June to September, with the Cinquanta Music Fest, we enjoy giving our district a different show than usual, authentic live performances that truly feel like summer concerts. With the Cinquanta Music Contest, however, we are expanding today's musical offerings with new voices, new stories, new sounds. A meticulous job that allows us to give space to emerging talents from our territory and beyond,” said Davide Schiavo, artistic director of Cinquanta – Spirito Italiano.
For the Cinquanta Music Contest, instead, every Saturday there will be live performances by emerging artists thanks to the support of Peroni Nastro Azzurro Stile Capri and Follie Musicali. There will be 16 bands competing in the Contest with live performances, with the final scheduled for July 27. The prize is 1000 euros to spend on musical instruments at “Follie Musicali”. The aim of the contest is to promote the growth of emerging artists, giving them the opportunity to perform, make themselves known and create collaborations for the future.
The usual “Lasciati andare” from Cinquanta will make you sing and dance throughout the summer of 2024.
Fifty - Italian Spirit is an Italian cocktail bar born in 2021 in Pagani, in the province of Salerno. In 2024 it is among the 10 best bar teams in Europe for the Spirited Awards 2024 of the American organization Tales of the Cocktails. In 2023 it is nominated as the best “Bar Team of the Year” in Italy according to Bargiornale at the ninth edition of the Barawards while the bartender Emanuele Primavera receives the award as “Best Bartender under 35” at the fourth edition of the “Food & Wine Italia Awards 2023”. In 2022 and 2023 it is nominated among the top 200 bars in the world by “500 Top Bar”. In 2022 it collects the second place as “Best Bar Team in Italy” according to Bargiornale; again included among the “Bars of Italy” according to Gambero Rosso; the general manager Natale Palmieri ranks 2nd at WorldClass Italia; bartender and dining room manager Emanuele Monteverde ranks 2nd Patròn Perfectionist Italia. In 2021 Gambero Rosso includes it among the “Bars of Italy” while Bargiornale elects it as “Bar Revelation of Italy”.
