Apulian singer-songwriter Davide Pepe's choice of Fred Buscaglione's "Guarda che luna" as his new single stems not only from a personal connection to the song itself, but also from its retro vibe and swing rhythm, an interesting basis for a reinterpretation and a new arrangement (by the artist himself) of the song in a modern key without distorting its meaning.
A real experiment and a sort of gamble by Davide Pepe who, in the song, thanks to the combination of playful lyrics and catchy melody, adds new elements and customizations, thus creating a fresh and captivating version that adapts to his new musical repertoire.
