During the press conference to present new coach Antonio Conte, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis addressed the recent tensions regarding two of the club's key players, Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. "Di Lorenzo is an extraordinary player and a man of great quality," De Laurentiis declared.
"I can understand that he was annoyed in the last few games and felt abandoned, but I explained to him that it was not possible to abandon a person like him." As for Kvaratskhelia, De Laurentiis he assured that there are no problems. "We have a contract, but I'll sit down with Manna, Chiavelli, the boy, and his agent and we'll make them a proposal to change the contract."
