“The Bagnoli case was another media scam. I have been repeating it for many weeks. It was an act of institutional incorrectness because they loaded one billion and two hundred million for Bagnoli on the funds of the Region. Why did they not use the cohesion funds owned by the national government? This is a shameful thing. Obviously this reduces the resources destined for the South”.
This was stated by the President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, on the sidelines of the inauguration of the 12th edition of 'Salerno Letteratura'.
And then he added: “We had to remodel the plan that we sent on October 11 without anyone ever having spoken about it. Bagnoli, nor anything else. They invented something else to create obstacles, further blackmail that is poured on the municipalities of the entire regional territory.
The most shameful thing is that that billion and two shifts almost 2028 billion euros to 29/1, that is, the concrete availability that will be there in five years, but in the meantime they force you to block significant resources that we had allocated to all the territories of the region. Despite everything - concluded the Governor - we will move forward and we will reach all our objectives".
