The Carabinieri are looking for possible accomplices of Antonio Mangiacapre, the 53-year-old worker from San Cipriano d'Aversa who has been in prison since yesterday as the presumed perpetrator of the double homicide of the brothers Marco Marrandino and Claudio Marrandino, killed along the Asse Mediano yesterday afternoon.
The 53-year-old, defended by the lawyer Paolo Caterino, was questioned for two hours last night by the prosecutor Antonio Vergara of the fifth section of the Aversa-Napoli Nord tribunal.
The worker provided his own suggestive version of the double homicide, even denying his involvement. As reported by CasertaCe.net, Mangiacapra explained that yesterday afternoon, while he was driving on the Nola-Villa Literno highway, two bandits forced him to stop and stole his car.
And then the person seen by the police getting out of the car and who is filmed by the camera of video surveillance would not be him. And the illness for which he was admitted to the Pineta Grande clinic in Castel Volturno was real and not fake.
The Carabinieri also interviewed the person who accompanied him to the clinic where he was later arrested.

Meanwhile, a rifle with its serial number removed was found in his home, but the gun used to kill the two Marrandino brothers has not yet been found.
The carabinieri are looking for the gun
Meanwhile, the Carabinieri are working on the phone traffic and computers of the two victims and the alleged killer. They are searching for emails, messages, and any contact between the three, given that during questioning he even denied knowing the two brothers.
In short, if the certainty is the two victims and, for the moment, the arrest of the presumed murderer, the motive is being sought which should be linked to economic reasons and to properties that ended up at auction belonging to Mangiacapre's family whose interests were looked after by one of the two victims, namely the lawyer Marco Marrandino.
But we are still at the beginning of the investigation, which promises to yield significant developments as early as tomorrow at the validation hearing before the investigating judge.
