With great satisfaction, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Tullio Ferrante, welcomed the news of the partial reopening to traffic of the State Road 163 Amalfitana in the Piano di Sorrento area.
"This result is the fruit of the collaborative efforts of authorities and institutions," commented Ferrante, emphasizing the efforts made by Anas and local authorities to restore traffic, albeit with alternating one-way traffic.
"This is an important first step," he continued, "but not the last. Our goal is to completely secure the road, to prevent similar emergency situations from recurring."
The Undersecretary expressed his appreciation for the constant collaboration with Anas and the territorial bodies, highlighting how this synergy has allowed us to reach a fundamental goal for the territory.
"Anas's reopening order represents a breath of fresh air for operators and local communities, giving them the ability to face the upcoming summer season with greater peace of mind," Ferrante said.
Aware of the importance of the Sorrento Coast, "the jewel in the crown of Campania and the whole country", Ferrante assured that the attention and commitment of the Ministry of Transport will remain high to guarantee the complete safety of the Amalfi State Road.
