Tragedy struck in the province of Los Ríos, Ecuador, where seven people were killed during a soccer match at the Ventanas sports center. According to local media reports, the sporting event was marred by a series of shootings targeting some of those in attendance.
Reports indicate that there were at least five perpetrators of the attack, all on motorcycles. The seven victims had no escape: five died instantly, while two others, seriously injured, were taken to Ventanas Hospital, where they sadly died.
