Naples. The sixth criminal section of the Court of Naples has sentenced the brothers Ernesto and Mario Sepe and their father Giovanni Sepe to three years and three months in prison for the attempted murder of Pasquale Di Dato.
The three defendants, defended by lawyers Davide Fico and Andrea Scardamaglio, were arrested for the attack that occurred in Ercolano on August 12, 2023.
The prosecution had asked for more severe sentences: 12 years and 6 months for the two brothers and 13 years for the father.
According to the reconstruction of the facts, the defendants allegedly attacked Of Given at the height of an argument that had broken out over trivial matters a few days earlier.
The man was stabbed with a knife and a hammer and rushed to Torre del Greco Hospital, where he was diagnosed with chest and head injuries.
The Sepe brothers were placed under house arrest on August 16, 2023, while their father Giovanni was notified of the order on the following November 25.
