Yesterday morning the Avellino Arpac Department was activated by the Solofra Carabinieri Company for an emergency response in the Municipality of Serino.
In fact, at around 3 am on 30 June, unknown persons committed a theft at the ATM inPost office of Serino located in Via Fontanelle through an explosive device which, in addition to blowing up the Postemat, damaged the rooms behind the ATM automatic teller machine.
Causing the panels of the false ceiling to collapse, which, according to the Director of the Post Office, are insulated with asbestos.

For this reason, the manager and technicians of the Territorial Area of the Avellino Department promptly arrived on site and monitored the airborne fibres using the mobile air quality monitoring device located in the square in front of the post office.
Two sampling cycles were carried out, the first yesterday morning and the second in the afternoon. From the analyses carried out by the Regional Asbestos Laboratory (Arpac department of Salerno) the fibres were found to be below the instrumental detection limit.
