Naples. The area of the former Agip motel, located near Corso Secondigliano, has become a vast open-air landfill.
Residents report dozens of spills of special materials, construction waste, asbestos and bulky items, accumulated under their windows. "We fear that with the heat the situation will worsen further", citizens write to MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, attaching a video showing people dumping materials in broad daylight.
“Immediate intervention with a radical remediation of the area is necessary to prevent serious health problems for residents or the risk that someone, criminally, sets fire to the waste,” warns Borrelli.
