The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has announced the appointment of new members to the Supervisory Commission for Professional Football Clubs (Co.Vi.So.C.), following the resignations of four members, effective June 30, 2024. The FIGC has launched a call for applications to integrate the Commission, receiving 73 expressions of interest.
After having verified the existence of the basic requirements, the Council appointed Tommaso Miele as president of the Co.Vi.So.C., together with Roberto Benedetti, Chiara Grassi and Laura Santoro as new members. These new members will join Giuseppe Marini, already present in the Commission.
The appointment of the new members of Co.Vi.So.C. represents a crucial step to guarantee the continuity and effectiveness of the supervision of professional football clubs, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and rules in the world of Italian football.
