Today the Cathedral of Voghera, in the Pavia area, was packed with people to give their last farewell to Cristina Frazzica, the thirty-year-old researcher who died on Sunday 9 June in Posillipo sea, hit by a boat while she was canoeing.
The Naples Public Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation into the incident. An emotional crowd attended the young woman's funeral, accompanied by the Città di Voghera band. Mayor Paola Garlaschelli was in the front row. The banner of the Red Cross, an organization for which Cristina was a volunteer, was also present in the church.
"The family is thirsty for justice and we all need justice that will let us know the truth of what happened," stressed Father Christian Orezzi in the homily.
