Casoria car thefts, from Scampia on the move. Carabinieri arrest two people.
Domenico Bruno, 35, and Fabio Torre, 43, both known to the police, come from Scampia and are combing the streets north of Naples at night.
The Carabinieri of the Giugliano company's operational section, on board a decoy car, have the task of foiling nighttime thefts. They notice the two suspects in the car as they slowly drive through the streets of Giugliano, a behavior that arouses the suspicion of the soldiers, who decide to follow them discreetly.
The tailing leads them to Casoria, where in via Macello what was suspected happens. The two Neapolitans get out of the car and approach a Peugeot, dressed in black and wearing neck warmers, gloves and baseball caps.
Tools and a decoding control unit seized
They force the door and the carabinieri intervene immediately. The two try to escape on foot, but their escape lasts only a few hundred meters before the carabinieri catch up with them and block them.
The following were seized: burglary tools and a starter control unit for decoding. The arrested are now awaiting trial.
