Naples. Eleven years of concerts in Piazza del Plebiscito and a never-ending thrill. Gigi D'Alessio kicked off his "Gigi - Uno come te - L'emozione continua" series last night with the first of seven concerts he will perform through June 16th.

A real record for the Neapolitan singer-songwriter, who will perform 18 times in one of the most sought-after squares by artists.

From 21:21 PM to midnight, the square was a veritable party, with two stages alternating between music and entertainment. It began with "Non mollare mai," a four-part performance by D'Alessio, Geolier, Giue', and Clementino, followed by the new single "Fra'," the preview of the singer-songwriter's latest album.

An album full of duets and featuring

Music has been the occasion for many encounters, both artistic and human. D'Alessio She duetted with Elodie on "Nu dispietto," a song that generated a lot of curiosity right up until the end, and with Umberto Tozzi, with whom she sang "Quanti amori," "Tu," and "Gloria." More recent hits include "Senza Tucca'" with Geolier and the Sanremo cover of "Un'estate italiana" with Giue'.

An audience of all ages

The square was a melting pot of generations, all united by their passion for D'Alessio's music. The audience sang and danced with Annalisa, got emotional with the piano medleys, and exploded with The Colors.

Also on stage Ernia, LDA and Francesco Cicchella

Other guests included Ernia, his son Luca, aka LDA, and Francesco Cicchella. The evening concluded with a spectacular fireworks display.

This is just the first night of concerts. Tonight, D'Alessio will be back on stage with other guests, including Alessandra Amoroso, Arisa, Fiorella Mannoia, and Boomdabash. Tomorrow is the third date, and the show will continue until June 16th. In total, over 100 fans from all over Italy are expected.

A success that confirms Naples' love for Gigi D'Alessio.

Once again, the Neapolitan singer-songwriter has proven to be a true mass phenomenon. His audience loves him and follows him with affection, and he reciprocates with music and passion.
