The man not only beat the rival in love, but according to the woman's testimony, he had been harassing her for some time with threats and intimidating behavior, creating a climate of anxiety and fear that had forced her to change her habits.
The Carabinieri arrested the 52-year-old, who is now in prison at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
