Two men were arrested by the Carabinieri of the Giugliano in Campania operational section for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing. The arrested are Pasquale De Rosa, 43, from Villaricca, already known to the police, and a 58-year-old man, with no criminal record. The operation took place near a bar on Via Libertà.
Here, De Rosa was found in possession of a dose of cocaine and 250 euros in cash. The search of his car led to the discovery of another 13 doses of the same substance, while in his home 134 doses of cocaine, cash and documents relating to the accounting of the trafficking of drug.
The investigation also extended to the apartment of the man with no criminal record, where the Carabinieri found seven vacuum-packed bags containing almost half a kilo of cocaine, as well as various materials for packaging the doses. The two men were placed under arrest and taken to prison, where they will remain awaiting trial.
