A grand gala of dance—the kind of dance made of sacrifice, sweat, and joy—will take place on Friday, June 28th at 8:30 pm in Piazza Aldo Moro in Siano. Loredana Di Filippo, artistic director and instructor of the eponymous academy, invites the public to participate in this special event. The academy, founded over thirty years ago, is dedicated to promoting dance as an artistic discipline and is deeply rooted in the fabric of Siano's city, representing true Italian excellence.
The Excellence of the Dance School
Loredana Di Filippo's school has trained numerous talents over the years, enhancing classical and modern dance through rigorous and passionate training. The gala will see the performance of the school's numerous classes, who will alternate on stage with performances ranging from classical to modern. The students will be accompanied by famous teachers such as Luigi Ferrone, Etoile of the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Luisa Vallozzi, Flavio De Vargas, Davide Raimondi, Daniela Capra and Pino Esposito.
The “Goodbyes” of the Graduates
One of the most emotional moments of the gala will be dedicated to the “farewell steps” of the high school graduates Ilaria Petti and Elisa Caiazza in the classical high repertoire ballet, and of Marco Castellaneta in the modern contemporary ballet. These young talents, who have completed their training at the academy, will perform in performances that represent the culmination of their commitment and dedication.
An Evening of Culture and Unity
The evening, presented for the third consecutive year by Tania Navarra and Pasquale Petrosino, will be an opportunity for the community to regenerate mind and heart through the culture of dance. The theater director Antonello De Rosa will be present as a sign of cultural unity and artistic partnership with the academy of Loredana Di Filippo. The spirit of the event is well represented by the quote: “God respects you when you work but loves you when you dance.”
