“All for one, one for all!”. The most famous motto of Alexandre Dumas’ novel, a symbol of incorruptible friendship, takes on new life in the new Italian musical version of “The Three Musketeers – Opera Pop”. This production, created by Stefano Francioni and the Teatro Stabile d’Abruzzo under the artistic direction of Giorgio Pasotti, is preparing to tread the boards of the most important Italian theaters.
Next Appointment in Naples
Anticipation is high in Campania for the event at the Palapartenope in Naples, scheduled for Friday 20 December 2024. This will be an unmissable opportunity for lovers of musical theatre to attend a show where music, prose and dance intertwine harmoniously in a compelling and exciting narrative.
A Star Cast
The cast boasts the presence of actors of the caliber of Giò Di Tonno, Vittorio Matteucci and Graziano Galatone, in the roles of Athos, Porthos and Aramis respectively. The artistic direction and direction were entrusted to the talented Giuliano Peparini, while the choreography is curated by Veronica Peparini and Andreas Muller. Alessandro Di Zio wrote the lyrics and the original music is composed by Giò Di Tonno.
Timeless Themes
The story celebrates not only the triumph of friendship, but also power and ambition. In an era where values such as honor, loyalty and honesty are often put in crisis, the three musketeers defend them fiercely, ready to fight for what they believe in. Love is another central theme, beautifully represented by the meeting between D'Artagnan and Constance, whose love story will however be tragically interrupted by the wicked Milady. The bitter ending will make viewers reflect on the complex and often ambiguous nature of the characters.
