Ischia. With the beginning of the summer season, the Fiamme Gialle of the Ischia Company have started a wide economic control activity of the territory, to ensure compliance with current regulations and protect citizens and tourists.

In particular, this week 10 violations were found regarding the failure of taxi drivers on the island to display the fare list.
Administrative sanctions, defined by the Highway Code, were contested to the offenders who, with their behavior, prevented users from knowing in advance the costs of the transport service.
At the same time, 15 were checked homes rented to verify compliance with the obligations set out in the Consolidated Law on Public Safety (TULPS).
5 holiday home owners reported
Following the investigations, 5 owners of “holiday homes” were reported to the Judicial Authority for violation of Article 109 of the TULPS, which imposes the obligation to communicate to the Public Security Authority the personal details of the people staying. This rule applies to both professional managers and those who carry out hospitality activities on an occasional basis.
