Fines for overloading on ferries. Severe fines were issued to 7 truck drivers who were travelling on ferries with a dangerously high weight on board that was higher than the legal limit.
Drugs on the beaches and in the clubs. The Carabinieri seized hashish and marijuana on the beaches of Ischia and in the nightlife areas. Nine young users were reported to the Prefecture. In addition to the doses of drugs, 2 flowering marijuana plants were also seized.

Intense controls on scooterThe Carabinieri identified 375 people aboard scooters who arrived on the island. The three of them, a husband, wife, and five-year-old son, were crammed onto the two-wheeled vehicle, with the child ridiculously and pointlessly hidden between his parents.
