In three years of activity, itabus has carried 4 million travellers from North to South, serving over 100 locations with 2.200 daily connections and more than 500 departures per day. The company has announced new routes for the summer season, operating from 20 June.
In Calabria, more stops and services are planned along the Ionian coast, connecting cities such as Salerno, Naples, Rome, Florence, Bologna and Milan. Up to 10 daily trips will connect places such as Crotone, Sibari, Rossano and Cirò Marina, with new destinations such as Pietrapaola, Strongoli Marina, Torre Melissa and Torretta Crucoli.
In Puglia, connections are increasing with 14 daily trips to Naples and 6 to Rome towards Bari and Salento. Summer destinations include Avetrana, Porto Cesareo, Nardò, Gallipoli, Manduria, Maglie, Mola di Bari and Polignano a Mare. A new summer route is the connection from Naples towards the Gargano coast (Peschici, Rodi Garganico and Vieste).
In Sicily, Cefalù and Siracusa have been added, with new trips to Taormina. In the North, the Itabus network expands in Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Veneto, with destinations such as Jesolo, Bibione, Caorle and Lignano Sabbiadoro, reachable from Venice Mestre, Padua, Ferrara, Bologna, Florence, Rome and Naples. Cortina will also be reachable for the summer season from Naples, Rome, Florence and Bologna.
