The Magic of Classical and Contemporary Dance in Professional Ballet

Teatro Delle Arti hosted four evenings dedicated to graduates Giuseppe Cuciniello, Federica Giordano and Gaia Pappalardo. With performances of classical, modern, contemporary and pole dance, the school celebrated 46 years of activity and success.

### A Constant Training Path

Professional Ballet's director, Pina Testa, emphasizes the importance of ongoing training for the transition from student to professional. "The transition from student to professional requires constant training," says Testa. Over the years, the school has had the opportunity to study with prestigious teachers such as Giuseppe Picone and Alessandra Celentano. Furthermore, students have been involved in important collaborations, allowing them to perform on renowned Italian stages.

### The Great Final Show

June 2 marked the final curtain call for the Professional Ballet’s 2024 performance.

This event featured graduates Giuseppe Cuciniello, Federica Giordano, and Gaia Pappalardo performing acclaimed classical choreography. Gaia Pappalardo played Sylvia, a nymph of Diana; Federica Giordano played Clara from The Nutcracker; and Giuseppe Cuciniello performed The Talisman. In addition to classical ballet, the show included modern dance, contemporary dance, musicals, hip hop, break dance, video dance, and pole dance.

### Collaborations and Prestigious Masters

Part of the success of the Professional Ballet is due to the collaboration with a wide range of professionals. Over 50 professionals, including guest dancers, choreographers and technicians, contributed to the realization of the evenings. Among these, the names of Cesare Alfano, Simone Centanni, Davide Raimondo, Giorgio Sannino and Piero Vicinanza stand out. Teachers and choreographers included Monica Micali, Sonia Saggese, Simona Dipierri, Sara Forte, among others.

### Upcoming Exams and Prominent Figures

The next important appointment for the school will be June 26, the day of the exams. The commission will include prominent figures such as Raffaele Paganini, Fabrizio Mainini, Dino Verga, Amalia Salzano and Annamaria Salzano, representatives of the elite of dance at a national and international level.

The school is therefore preparing to close another year of successes, confirming itself as a point of reference in the training of new dance talents in Italy.
