On Thursday, June 20th, a special "fantasy walk" will take place in the hamlet of San Giovanni e Paolo in Caiazzo (CE), led by fantasy expert Massimo Gerardo Carrese. A unique opportunity to rediscover the town through games, reflections, and activities for all ages.
### A Unique Fantasy Experience
The event, hosted by the renowned fantasy scholar and author of "The Great Book of Fantasy," promises to offer a new perspective on the town. "Fantasy isn't an escape from reality, but a tool for knowledge," Carrese emphasizes. The idea is to explore the town's streets not to daydream, but to explore its potential, often overlooked due to a routine perspective.
### Games, Philosophy and Design
The "walk" includes specific reflections ranging from philosophy to design, including literature. During the walk, participants will be able to engage in original word, number, and shape games, observing the town's streets, houses, and objects as concrete resources and opportunities to be realized. A practical example will be the design of a bottle cap for the local olive oil, inspired by a specific characteristic of San Giovanni e Paolo.
### An Experience for All Ages
The "walk," promoted by the Scholastic Attivism Parent Committee and the Fantasiological Festival, is free and open to all: adults, teens, and children (ages 7 and up). Reservations are not required. Meeting point is at 17:45 PM in the small square above San Giovanni e Paolo, so as not to miss the introduction to the stages of the route, which begins at 18:00 PM and ends around 20:00 PM. At the end of the route, the Committee will offer a toast.
### Support and Collaborations
The initiative is supported by the moral patronage of the Municipality of Caiazzo and numerous local associations. After the "walk", it will be possible to linger in the square at the "Il Chiosco" refreshment point to watch the match, thus contributing to an evening of conviviality and sharing.
