Weekend with pleasant temperatures and bright sunshine on Naples and Campania but also on all of Italy.
Meteorologists confirm that the cyclonic circulation responsible for the thunderstorms has moved away towards the Balkans, as has the Atlantic moist flow that brought the storms to the North.
A sunny weekend: in the next few hours the sun will be the protagonist in much of the country, especially in the Center-South. In Naples and Campania the temperatures will be pleasant, with maximums that will not exceed 31-32°C –
Warm weather is coming, but not yet torrid: the weekend will follow the same trend, with sun in the Center-South and a few more clouds in the North.
African anticyclone arriving: the calm after the storm, however, will be short-lived. Starting next Monday, the African anticyclone, even more powerful and extensive, will bring with it an increase in temperatures. The heat will be felt throughout Italy, with peaks of 34°C and possible peaks of 38-39°C.
This second heat wave of 2024 will affect all of Italy and will last a long time in the Center-South. In the North, however, refreshing showers are expected already for the Summer Solstice (June 20), but the trend is yet to be confirmed.
